Church musician.

We wrote history in my church this morning. The first church musician in the diocese of Nidaros was ordained to do his work. Musician Øystein Løvlie was ordained as a cantor by our bishop Finn Wagle.

My church, Kolstad church here in Trondheim is a quite new church. We will celebrate it's first 20 years next year. And in preparation for that we are raising money to buy more of the altar silver and textiles. To raise these money we have a lottery going on where you can win one of 15 pieces of arts, paintings. Kolstad church is a church where we are fond of arts, and there are always various concerts going on. And also the Sunday services are filled with great music. Today, together with two cantors playing the organ a woman was playing the trompet, and a man, Frank Gulliksen was singing. He sang two songs, Where'er you walk by G.F.Händel and Panis angelicus by C.Frank.
